Little sibs get off to a fast start. Just ask Vermonter Devin Logan, who used to follow her older brothers to their competitions every winter weekend. When she was six, her mom told her that she might as well compete herself. She wanted to be an alpine racer, but her brothers — pro skiers Sean and Chris — wouldn’t allow it. Taking their advice turned out okay: at fifteen, she was on the U.S. Championships podium, finishing second in halfpipe. Two years later, in her first full season, she made her X Games debut in both halfpipe and slopestyle and won a halfpipe bronze. She finished her rookie season with the U.S. halfpipe skiing title and the overall AFP crown. Devin is one of the only women who excels at both superpipe and slopestyle and was named to the inaugural U.S. Freeskiing Team for both. When not skiing, Devin stays active playing soccer, trying new outdoor adventures, logging hours on the trampoline... and showing her brothers a thing or two.
