We made every effort to ensure that the instructions in Stitch Mountain were correct before publication. However, mistakes do happen. So here is a list of things we have found so far, ordered by project name.
If you think there is a problem with the instructions for a project, please let us know by emailing us at Thanks so much!

Cabled Convertible Mittens

The pattern called for 2 balls of Red Heart with Love yarn, but only one ball is required.

Ski Patrol Hoodie & Mittens

The yarn requirements for the hoodie set originally are listed as 4(5,6,6) skeins of Red Heart With Love in #1909 Holly Berry, and 1 skein in #1101 Eggshell. This yarn will work well for the set, but the yarn used for the actual samples in the book is Red Heart Soft: 4(5,5,6) balls in #9925 Really Red, and 1 ball in #4601 Off White. If you do want to use Red Heart with Love, you will only need 3(4,5,5) skeins.

Snowflake Turtleneck

This pattern was originally knit in Red Heart With Wool (146 yds per ball), which is now discontinued. The pattern called for 7 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) balls of With Wool or 1022, (1022, 1168, 1314, 1460, 1606) yds of an Aran weight yarn. If using the new recommended yarn (Red Heart With Love), you would need 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5) balls of yarn.
